At Yelarbon State School we believe that it is vitally important that the parents be actively involved not only in their own child’s education but in the school as a whole. Some of the strategies we employ include:
· Weekly Newsletter
· Regular sharing days where the parents are invited up to see the work that the students have been doing
· Parent-teacher interviews
· Parent and community volunteers for Reading and Environmental Studies
· Parents and Citizens Association
· Student centred activities at school e.g. Parade, Speech Nights
