State Delivered Kindergarten
Yelarbon State School is fortunate to be offering
State Delivered Kindergarten to eligible children from 2022.
State Delivered Kindergartens provide kindergarten programs that are delivered by, or have access to, an early childhood teacher in composite and non-composite settings. In composite or multi-age classes, kindergarten is provided in schools where children from 2 or more year levels are in the same class
Early childhood education and care prepares children for lifelong learning. Attending kindy enables children at your school to benefit from quality early learning experiences, by making new friends, improving their social, emotional, speech, language and physical skills and building a connection with the school along the way.
Children participating in
State Delivered Kindy need to be 4 years of age by 30 June of the year they are to attend kindy.
Playgroup
Yelarbon State School offers a playgroup for children aged 0-5 and their caregivers. This program operates once a week during term time on a Tuesday morning between 9am-11am. An early childhood facilitator plans and implements the activities.
At least one parent needs to attend with their child/children.
The children need their own hat, water bottle and morning tea.
